Garmin express

Bom tarde, Pessoal!

Comprei um Garmin 52 lm e esta funcionando perfeitamente.

No entanto, baixei o garmin express e quando vou abri-lo da a seguinte mensangem:

"Garmin express can´t open because the internet connection is being blocked. Try disabling your firewall and proxy settings and open garmin express again. If that doesn´t work, you may need to contact your network administrator to ensure the network you´re on isn´t restricting access, or contact your internet service provider to make sure they aren´t blocking the connection."

Obs. Utilizo o Windows 8.1 e já instalei o plug-in Communicator e ele reconheceu meu GPS.

Importante salientar que como medidas, já tentei desligar o firewal e o antivírus, mas mesmo assim não obtive resultado.

Alguém tem alguma dica de como posso resolver isso? Desde já agradeço... Grande abraço

Ocorreu também comigo, com Windows 8.1, porém, tentei em outra máquina com o mesmo sistema operacional, e obtive sucesso.
Sinceramente, não sei te dizer o porque desta msg!
Portanto, fica aqui a dica Ok!

Vários colegas reportaram este problema.
Segundo orientação da Garmin faça o seguinte:
1. Press the Windows key+R
2. Type "services.msc" and press Enter
3. Locate and right-click Garmin Core Update Service
4. Click Properties
5. Click on Log On tab
6. Select This account
7. Type "Network Service" in the Account field
8. Remove all text from both password fields
9. Click Apply, then click OK on the next three prompts
10. Right-click Garmin Core Update Service and Click Stop
11. Right-click Garmin Core Update Service and Click Start
Segundo a garmin isto deverá resolver o problema. Teste e informe o resultado.
